If you are a non-toastmaster, you have just taken the first step to building your confidence in effective communication and leadership. The only organization of its kind devoted to the growth and development of the individual, Toastmasters is the undisputed world leader in oral communication and leadership skills for people of all walks of life.

Toastmasters clubs are wonderful learning laboratories where we can refine our skills or develop new ones in a supportive environment. D26 has bi-lingual clubs for those who speak English as a second language and we support the military in building clubs at Buckley and Petersen Air Force base. There are clubs that meet the needs of the physically challenged or visually impaired, advanced clubs for the talented and highly motivated, as well as clubs that focus on debating skills.

Some clubs have a theme for each meeting and often highlight a specific culture complete with ethnic food and attire. Members see it as a way to promote understanding and acceptance of diversity in a relaxed environment. Fellowship through planned attendance at community and club events promotes team bonding.
