For Leadership, Give Me Shackleton Antarctic Explorer Ernest Shackleton has been called “the greatest leader who ever came on God’s earth – bar none.” In this talk, Angela tells the story of Shackleton’s 1914 – 1916 expedition. Shackleton’s stout ship the Endurance was frozen into the sea off the coast of Antarctica, and then crushed by ice. It sank leaving the crew stranded on the ice. | BIO | Dirk has been an avid member of Toastmasters for over 12 years. He has created a variety of presentations. He earned his masters degree in Marketing from San Diego State University. He currently runs his own business selling electronic filing cabinets with a diversified clientele. He enjoys the outdoors and watching his daughters excel in gymnastics and cheerleading. Mr. Kittredge has been a member of Toastmasters since 1992. He has been a member of six different clubs from California to Colorado. Within the Toastmasters’ organization, he has held many officer positions including educational vice president, vice president of membership and secretary.
