What’s Your Score?

It was the cover story of TIME magazine February of 2004. Six years later and you still don’t hear much about it. The article was called “The Secret Killer” and showed how the leading causes of illness and death are related to this simple blood test. Most medical doctors still don’t understand the importance of it, yet it is the most important blood test you’ll ever take.
This blood test is more important than your cholesterol level, blood pressure, blood sugar or body fat! A high score indicates that your risk of dying from cardiovascular disease, cancer, diabetes, stroke, or Alzheimer’s disease is greatly increased. In fact, nine of the ten leading causes of death are increased when your score is high.

Maybe they would like to improve their marriage, relationship with their children, or their financial situation. Noble goals indeed. Then why do the majority of people, who are sincere in their resolutions, eventually give up on their goals and lapse into their former bad habits?
