Greetings Members of District 26,

It is that time of year again where we have the opportunity to network and fellowship with our Toastmasters. It is time for our Annual District 26 Conference, which will be a free, all-virtual event held on April 30 – May 1, 2021. We will have an awesome keynote address by Paul Artale, DTM. The purpose of the conference is to conduct District business at the District Council meeting, recognize District accomplishments, hold training in support of the District mission and to have the International Speech Contest and other District-level speech contests.

Regarding our District Council Meeting, it will take place on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at 3:00pm. The meeting will be open to all District Council members (Trio, Managers, Division & Area Directors, Club Presidents and Club Vice Presidents Education) and a registration link has already been provided. We will live stream our District Council Meeting on D26 Toastmasters Members Group Page. At the District Council Meeting, we will vote in the leadership for the 2021-2022 program year. We will have a Candidates’ Showcase on Saturday, May 1, 2021, where you will have the opportunity to hear the candidates speak in their own words why they are pursuing further leadership within Toastmasters.

Additionally, at the District Council Meeting, we will vote on the alignment of the District for next program year. We plan to hold a District wide Town Hall meeting on Wednesday, April 21 at 6:00 for all members within the District to come out and discuss potential changes.
