Greetings, District 26.
Welcome to the second quarter of our program year. We’re seeing more accurate member numbers with this round of dues renewals, and we’re getting more requests for coaches as club memberships fall below 13. Since July, our Club Growth team has assigned 12 coaches to the 25 clubs that have requested them to date. We are searching for more volunteers to help out with this important mission!
If any of you are actively pursuing a DTM, whether under the Legacy program or Pathways, now is an excellent time to fulfill a critical part of that certification! Do you have a desire to help others—to bring out the best in people? Have you been lifted up by someone else at a time in your life when you needed it? Our District has a noble history of stepping in to help. This 2020 crisis has impacted so many of us, and the struggle has been tough. However, the widespread physical restrictions have created an unforeseen advantage: it’s now easier than ever to coach a club virtually. Think of the possibilities! You can coach a club 100 miles away from the comfort and convenience of your own home; and with several eligible clubs from which to choose, you can even find a time of day that best accommodates your schedule.
What’s your kryptonite? Not sure how to start, or how to go about doing this? Not to worry, because we have training materials to help you out. There are plenty of resources to guide you along the way, and your Club Growth team will be there to support you along the way. We need YOU!
