Last month I spoke about creating a video library so that we can save the educational sessions that we offer throughout the year.
Now I am looking for members who have always wanted to step into a teaching role. I want to change the way we learn. We will be offering training sessions on how to create an excellent club, the ins and outs of being an Area Director, and how to use Zoom as a beginner and as an experienced user.
I know we have more trainers and leaders out there that are ready to step out of their comfort zone. Toastmasters is the place to practice and get feedback on areas of improvement so you can take the skills you learn into your work. Are you ready to grow in your job and expand your personal skills?
We are here to help and grow alongside you. The best thing you can do for yourself is to allow feedback and take a chance on yourself. I am not looking for perfect speakers, just people who want to help others by sharing their knowledge and who want to expand their skills in public speaking. Why not start to learn in the comfort of your own home? If you want to pair up with another person and present your session, there are no hard rules that you need to follow.
Reach out to me and tell me what you feel is missing in training and what you have to offer. Please copy the Training Proposal outline below and submit your ideas to me. I believe in you.
Thank you,

Please describe the key takeaways the attendees will get from your session?
Session Description – The description promotes the highlights from your session, includes why the audience cares about your topic and what they will learn in your session.
Session Abstract – The abstract contains more specific details (possibly a session outline) and demonstrates deep knowledge of the topic.
Why do you want to train on this subject?
If you have a handout that you will share, please attach.
I have found that most successful training sessions on zoom are no more than one hour, please remember you need at least 15 minutes of Q&A.
Will you have someone present with you?
