If you are working toward your traditional DTM but thought you’d have to start over with Pathways due to not having a chance to hold a district officer position, then fear not! If you would like to be a club coach, then you can get credit for both coaching and holding a district office!

Social Media Audit and Strategy
Many times Vice Presidents Public Relations (VPPRs) and other leaders ask me, “What do I post on Social Media?” “When Do I post?” “How often?” I am glad you asked! This is my forte. My background is in Social Media Strategy. I will answer a few questions here and the rest is in the links.

Jillian Gibson: Millennials Transforming the Workplace

Talk Up Toastmasters
We are approaching mid-year for the Toastmasters program year. To kick things off – Congratulations to the newly chartered clubs in District 26: Gunbarrel Community Toastmasters Club, #6639075 – chartered 12/21/18 – Platte County Toastmasters Club, #06924438 – chartered 01/03/19. The clubs are currently pending alignment and will soon be reflected in the appropriate Divisions and Areas.
U are PR
Wherever you go, whatever you do…you are a Toastmaster. That means whatever you do, wherever you go, whatever you say, how you treat someone, how you represent yourself online, how you represent yourself offline, you are still a Toastmaster. As a Toastmaster, it is our job to “Protect the Brand”. Protecting the Brand means being aware of who we are outside of Toastmasters as much as who we are when performing in a Toastmaster capacity.
A Promise Made Is a Promise Kept
“As a member of Toastmasters International and my club, I promise to serve my club as an officer when called upon to do so.” Congratulations Club Officers! You have kept your promise to serve as a president, vice president, secretary, treasurer, or sergeant at arms. Now what? Learn how to accomplish the task you promised to do and serve your club in the best way you know how by attending a Toastmasters Leadership Institute (TLI) on a Saturday in January!
