BEING…DISTINGUISHED!
Are you on the road to becoming a Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM)? Maybe you need to complete your High Performance Leadership (HPL) project. But, what project will allow me to lead a team while developing my leadership skills? Glad you asked. After the first of the year, there are opportunities to chair different events such as Area and Division contests.

Getting Back to the Basics of Club Growth
We are in full swing in the Toastmasters year. Dues renewal, October 1, has passed and Area Directors are busily visiting clubs and completing Area Club Visit Reports before the November 30th deadline. Now is the time to get back to basics… that is, why did we join Toastmasters, what keeps us coming back and how do share the benefit of Toastmasters with others?
Winning Toastmaster of the Year 2017
My brain is still buzzing. I feel so honored and lucky to have been given this amazing award. After only two years in Toastmasters, and after overcoming all in my life with all my hardships even before Toastmasters, to think that I would EVER receive such an honor as Toastmaster of the Year — I could never possibly have imagined.
Try imagining a place where it’s always safe and warm
Do you imagine your Toastmasters club meetings as a place where it’s always safe and warm? The Toastmasters Club Mission is: We provide a supportive and positive learning experience in which members are empowered to develop communication and leadership skills, resulting in greater self-confidence and personal growth.
Hall of Fame
Change is inevitable and districts throughout the world were charged with discovering new and innovative programs to replace fall conferences. Our District Director and Program Quality Director took on this challenge with enthusiasm and thus the “Fall Training Expo” became a reality!
Fall Training Expo October 2018
Wow, what an amazing day we had for our inaugural Fall Training Expo. Our training theme was focused on Club Excellence topics to help strengthen everyone’s home club. All the details can be found here: https://www.d26toastmasters.org/fall-training-expo/
Thanks goes out to the 25 volunteers and 13 speakers to execute such a large event for our 160 attendees. We especially appreciate Sheryl Roush traveling to Colorado to share her Marketing and Speechcraft expertise while closing with her ‘Heart of a Toastmaster’ keynote.
