Gates to Excellence Toastmasters is creating excellence in mentoring.

We are currently implementing a users guide for new and experienced mentors. The first and foremost intention to support new members properly. A structure of guidance and accountability also provides opportunities for continued growth to advanced members through leadership and communication.

Mentors are guided through a 6 week step by step process. Starting with a brief conversation after the new member is inducted, the guide continues with do’s and don’ts for the mentor, and finishes with a weekly action plan.

A quality mentoring program for new members is the secret sauce behind any successful club.

Mentors can develop deeper relationships with their participants as they turn to us for feedback and evaluation. Being a mentor is one of the most rewarding ways to share the mastery you’ve learned. And, it can sure be fun too!
