Greetings and Happy Toastmasters New Year!!
Thank you District 26 for entrusting me with the enormous duty and privilege of serving as your Program Quality Director. As the Program Quality Director (PQD), part of my responsibilities include overseeing all training and education throughout the District. With these new responsibilities, I look forward to learning even more about the ever changing world of Toastmasters.
Just a little bit about me:
I really enjoy providing training to others. Professionally, I provide training to staff in my career with the Social Security Administration. I am truly in my comfort zone and I am anticipating an exciting year. To start things off, we have already had our Northern Division Toastmasters Leadership Institute (TLI) on June 15th for training incoming 2019-2020 club officers. We just had our combined Denver/Foothills/Metro/Urban/Western Divisions TLI on July 13th.
Coming soon we will have the Eastern Division TLI and Southern Division TLI on July 20th. While recognizing that all club officers cannot attend one of the four TLIs, there will also be make-up sessions called Club Officer Trainings. Information about all of these and other District 26 events may be found at the District 26 Calendar.
We recently held District Officer Training on June 22nd for all incoming District Leaders. We received positive feedback regarding the training, but we are all always striving to improve. Thus, if you attended and would like to provide feedback, please do so at DOT Feedback.
As PQD, I would like to provide online training modules on our District 26 website on topics pertinent to quality club meetings. Please email me at regarding what topics that you would like to see covered in online training modules.
