October 20, 2018, marked a new experience in District 26.
Change is inevitable and districts throughout the world were charged with discovering new and innovative programs to replace fall conferences. Our District Director and Program Quality Director took on this challenge with enthusiasm and thus the “Fall Training Expo” became a reality!
Each year, District 26 celebrates the remarkable individual and group achievements of our members throughout the district who have made significant milestones in the previous year. This annual event is called the “Hall of Fame” and usually is held during the fall conference. We were honored this year to have the Hall of Fame highlighted as the closing event to the outstanding Fall Training Expo!
This was a special night. We honored Area Directors, Division Directors, Extension and Retention teams, the Realignment Committee members, 13 new DTMs, 36 Triple Crown Award winners and many other members who exemplified remarkable leadership qualities. Space in this blog does not permit individual recognition of everyone.
Please know it was my privilege to honor you during the Hall of Fame, and District 26 celebrates with you, your extraordinary accomplishments!
