Happy New Year District 26!!!

The year 2020 was unlike any year that we ever experienced. That means the holiday season was likely different as well.  It is my hope that you and yours were happy, safe and well during the holiday season.

It is now a new year and usually at the beginning of a new year it is not uncommon to hear a of myriad New Year’s Resolutions and such proclamations as “New Year, New Me” or “This is MY Year.” The new year is an opportune time to refocus and rededicate yourself to personal and professional goals.  As for Toastmasters, this is a time to reevaluate where you are in terms of your educational achievements and consider the steps you need to take in accomplishing your goals.  Perhaps consider providing more speeches so that you may accomplish educational goals.  Perhaps consider enrolling in an additional Path.  Or perhaps consider preparing yourself to step into leadership for the 2021-2022 program year.

There are six months remaining in the program and it is time to REFOCUS and RECOMMIT ourselves to our goals.  Let’s finish the year Toastmasters STRONG!!!
